PPRC Friday Rally Hosted by Impeachment Resolution Action Coalition (IRAC)

Event: Impeachment Resolution Action Coalition (IRAC) Rally and March
Date: Friday, May 9, 2003
Time: 5:00 p.m.
Place: Pioneer Courthouse Square

Impeach Bush Rally--We will gather Friday, May 9th at Pioneer Courthouse Square at 5pm with a march through the streets at 5:30. After the march, we will return to the Square to topple the "Bush Statue" as a symbol of overthrowing this regime.

The rally is organized by the Impeachment Resolution Action Coalition (IRAC); an Oregon based group taking action to garner support for the impeachment resolution, written by Frances A. Boyle, Law Professor at the University of Illinois. IRAC's main focus is gathering signatures on petitions that will be presented to Oregon's five Representatives in Congress, as evidence of the demand from their own constituency for impeachment.

"It's really up to you and to me to enforce the law and the Constitution against our own government," Professor Boyle says. "We are citizens of the United States of America. We have to act to preserve the republic that we have, to preserve our Constitution, to preserve a rule of law. This is our responsibility as citizens."
